Tributes have flooded in from across the financial services industry after the passing of AJ Bell’s Mike Morrison, aged 55.
Morrison took up a number of roles in his 30 years working in the profession at companies including Winterthur Life, Axa Wealth and, most recently, as head of platform technical at AJ Bell.
AJ Bell chief executive Andy Bell said: “Mike was never more comfortable than when he was in a room full of financial advisers talking about complex pensions topics in his unique, engaging and light-hearted way.
“He was one of the most popular pension commentators in the industry and leaves behind many friends and colleagues.
“Most importantly he was a dearly loved husband and father and our thoughts and support are with his family at this difficult time. He will be sorely missed by everyone at AJ Bell.”
UK based financial firm Montfort tweeted: "Incredibly sad news about AJ Bell's Mike Morrison. A man of such knowledge who always had time for those in the industry. He will be missed."
