AMI seeks adviser views for protection survey

Mortgage and protection advisers working within mortgage advice firms have been called on by the Association of Mortgage Intermediaries (AMI) to complete a survey.

The AMI’s Protection Viewpoint survey is back for a third year and seeks the views of advisers to give a better understanding of how protection is viewed and sold across the advice sector.

The survey, which will take less than five minutes for advisers to complete, will also help the AMI shape its strategic plans on protection over the next 12 months.

Alongside its sponsors Legal & General and Royal London, the AMI is to share the findings from the adviser and consumer research during a launch event on 3 November.

Senior policy adviser at at AMI, Stacy Penn, said: “Over the last two years AMI Protection Viewpoint has provided invaluable insight to mortgage intermediary firms and the wider protection industry.

“The adviser survey is an important part of our research and we would be grateful if all mortgage and protection advisers working within mortgage advice firms, whether AMI members or not, could complete this year’s survey to give us the best possible set of representative results. We appreciate it’s an extremely busy time for advisers right now and are grateful for the support.

“We look forward to sharing our consumer and adviser market research findings with the industry on 3 November.”
