CHL Mortgages signs up to Knowledge Bank’s KB PRO criteria system

CHL Mortgages has announced it is to use the new KB PRO system from Knowledge Bank to further improve how its criteria is communicated to mortgage brokers.

The system was launched by Knowledge Bank last month and provides lenders with the ability to better manage their criteria data along with a range of tools to improve how their criteria is presented to brokers.

CHL noted that the move will now allow its head office staff, business development managers (BDMs), underwriters and internal sales teams to provide brokers with a consistent source of criteria data and wording that is updated in real-time.

Knowledge Bank’s system also provides users with a feature that highlights recently updated criteria for ease of reference, which can help pinpoint what and when changes have been made so that all staff are kept informed to avoid the possibility of any misunderstandings.

“We are always looking for ways to improve how we communicate with all our intermediary partners KB PRO allows us to do just that, simply and easily,” said commercial director at CHL Mortgages, Ross Turrell.

Knowledge Bank CEO, Nicola Firth, added: “CHL has built an enviable reputation for putting brokers first and this means presenting their criteria and products in an accurate a timely fashion which helps brokers deliver an exceptional service to their customers.

“One of the main benefits of using KB PRO to build a case is that it reveals any ‘blockers’ that would stop a case progressing which removes any confusion and ambiguity surrounding lending criteria; the result is a fast-tracked new business enquiry process.

“We’re very pleased to be working with CHL and giving them the tools to deliver an even greater broker experience.”
