One Mortgage System integrates with UnderwriteMe

One Mortgage System (OMS) has fully integrated with Insurtech firm, UnderwriteMe, to improve its protection and life insurance offering.

The integration with the UnderwriteMe Protection Platform provides OMS users with a seamless point of entry to a protection sourcing tool.

OMS is the only end-to-end platform which covers product areas such as residential, buy-to-let, second charge, equity release, bridging, commercial plus general insurance, and protection. It is integrated with providers including Twenty7Tec, Submissions Brain, Ignite, Hometrack, Experian and Knowledge Bank, to provide users with product sourcing, protection sourcing and criteria searching.

The firm’s latest integration will see OMS pre-populate the UnderwriteMe Protection Platform, offering advisers access to protection quotations, pre-sales underwriting and a single application journey which generates fully underwritten comparative terms for life, critical illness and income protection products.

Managing director of OMS, Neal Jannels, commented: “The UnderwriteMe platform shares many tech-led synergies with OMS, meaning this integration will really resonate with our users as it serves to simplify and streamline a process which has long been perceived as being daunting and overly complex.

“Ignoring a client’s protection needs will mean that advisers are not only potentially missing out on a regular income stream – which can also add considerable value to a business if there are any future exit strategies in the pipeline – but also in delivering a stronger duty of care in an uncertain economic climate.”

Commercial director at UnderwriteMe, Mark Cracknell, added: “We are delighted to be launching a partnership with OMS. Our objective is to make individual protection more accessible and this integration with OMS is another important step in supporting the advice process and delivering customer choice.”
