SimplyBiz Mortgages partners with The Landlord Works

SimplyBiz Mortgages has announced a new partnership with The Landlord Works to provide its members with direct access to a portfolio landlord facing tool.

The Landlord Works, a partner brand to The Mortgage Works, has a tool that facilitates the management of portfolios from one central dashboard.

The firm’s tool provides a range of features including gas and electrical safety certificate notifications, the ability to simplify a landlord’s tax return, property marketing, tenant, property and finance management support, and the ability to connect bank accounts.

SimplyBiz Mortgages CEO, Martin Reynolds, said that The Landlord Works offers “time-saving initiatives” and a “well-balanced management process” for rental properties.

“We were very impressed with the thinking and subsequent development behind both The Landlord Works’ existing solutions, and its plans for the future,” Reynolds commented.

“A well-managed portfolio is highly likely to offer a safe and secure home to its tenants and, as the requirements to meet with significant regulation grows for landlords, the ability to do away with diary reminders and spreadsheets into a fully functional platform that pulls all the key elements into one central hub is good news for both landlords and tenants, while offering more opportunity for advisers.”

Director of landlord at The Landlord Works, Paul Wootton, added: “We’re proud to be partnering with SimplyBiz Mortgages and are keen to support brokers in enhancing their relationships with landlords. We look forward to working closely with the team at SimplyBiz Mortgages over coming months and helping brokers in this next chapter.”
