Alternative Bridging launches commercial mortgage subsidiary

Alternative Bridging Corporation has launched Alternative Commercial Mortgages (ACM), a new subsidiary offering longer-term commercial mortgage products to brokers and clients across commercial, semi-commercial and residential buy-to-let properties.

ACM will provide loans from five to 30 years for purchases, refinancing and capital raising, with lending available up to 75% LTV. Options include fixed and discounted variable rates, as well as interest-only repayment.

The products cover offices, industrial and warehouse units, retail and mixed-use properties and residential investments, targeting property investors and commercial owner-occupiers seeking longer-term funding.

The lender said ACM combines straightforward products with flexible, case-by-case underwriting and dedicated regional business development managers. Brokers will also have access to a portal to submit and manage cases and receive updates throughout the application process.

Jonathan Rubins, director and chief commercial officer at Alternative Bridging Corporation, said: “We’ve designed ACM to remove as much of that complexity as possible. The proposition combines straightforward product options with flexible underwriting and clear communication, so brokers can get the answers they need and greater certainty from the outset.”

The launch extends Alternative Bridging Corporation’s specialist property finance offering into longer-term commercial lending, building on more than 30 years of lending and underwriting experience.
