Azets Wealth Management acquires Evans Falco

Azets Wealth Management has agreed to acquire chartered financial planner, Evans Falco, as it looks to expand its business into the South West.

Evans Falco, which has offices in Redruth and Newquay, is one of a small number of firms in Cornwall to hold chartered status from the Chartered Insurance Institute.

Its team specialises in helping individuals and families plan for the future, with expertise spanning financial planning, investment and retirement advice.

Led by partners Treve Evans and Rosie Falco, the firm has grown over the past 15 years, with its client base ranging from high-net-worth individuals requiring complex financial and tax planning, to those seeking guidance on later-life planning and other specialist needs.

As part of the deal, the Evans Falco team will relocate to Azets’ regional offices in Plymouth and Truro to ensure a stronger local presence and collaboration with colleagues across the region.

The deal marks further national expansion for the wealth management firm, which operates from hubs in the North East and Scotland.

The latest acquisition follows recent takeovers by Azets, including the Glasgow-based wealth management and chartered accountancy firm, Milne Craig, and Laurus Associates in Newcastle.

Partner at Evans Falco, Rosie Falco, said: "Joining Azets Wealth Management gives us the chance to grow while continuing to deliver the high-quality, personal advice our clients expect. We’ve always believed in building relationships that stand the test of time, and being part of Azets allows us to offer clients even more choice and depth of expertise without losing the values that define us."

Chief executive officer at Azets Wealth Management, Mark Parkinson, added: "Evans Falco has built a fantastic reputation in Cornwall and the South West for trusted, chartered financial planning. Their people-first culture and specialist knowledge are a natural fit with Azets Wealth Management, and we’re delighted to have them on board. This is another important step in strengthening our regional presence and ensuring clients benefit from the very best advice and support."

Contracts have been exchanged and the deal is expected to complete by the end of the month.
