Mortgage Brain integrates Paymentshield into CRM Brain

Mortgage Brain has integrated Paymentshield into its CRM Brain platform, giving brokers the ability to offer clients a home insurance quote automatically as part of the mortgage application process.

The integration will allow brokers to be prompted to ask their client whether they’d like help arranging home insurance once the mortgage application has been submitted through CRM Brain.

The move is designed to give brokers a more seamless way of arranging home insurance alongside their client’s mortgage application.

Built on Paymentshield’s API integration capability, the connection allows customer data already captured in CRM Brain to be passed through automatically, so brokers no longer need to log into a separate system or manage the process manually at a key stage of the client journey.

The integration also gives brokers a way to protect more of their clients and generate an additional revenue stream from with their existing workflow.

Chief commercial officer at Mortgage Brain, Neil Wyatt, stated: "Adding Paymentshield to CRM Brain is another step in our ongoing programme of updates, and it directly reflects what brokers have told us they need. By bringing home insurance quoting and referral into the platform, brokers can support clients at the point it matters most, without ever leaving the system they're already working in. It's a quicker journey for brokers, a smoother experience for their clients, and a new revenue opportunity too. We'll keep working with our partners to find more ways to bring this kind of integration and automation across CRM Brain."

Nasar Hussain, associate director intermediated household at Paymentshield, concluded: "This integration is a positive step in helping brokers access home insurance quoting more easily within their existing workflow. By bringing together CRM Brain and Paymentshield, we're helping to simplify the process for advisers and support a smoother experience for their clients."
