Just Mortgages has appointed Tara Catnott to the role of area director for the north. Based in Sheffield, she will be coaching and supporting self-employed advisers across the region, while looking to expand the team with new recruits. Catnott brings nearly 15 years of financial services experience to the role, after starting her career in admin and underwriting roles within secured lending and later mortgages. In her most recent role, she worked as head of sales at Echo Finance, helping to grow the business from a team of five employed advisers to 45 self-employed advisers across the UK.

Sam Dillin has been appointed as business development manager (BDM) for the central, east and west London regions at CHL Mortgages. His arrival means that the lender now has six BDMs supporting intermediaries and their clients across England and Wales. Dillin joins from London-based brokerage, Coreco, where he spent five years in a number of positions, including roles in client services and key accounts, as well as a spell as a BDM.

Pepper Money has launched new concessionary purchase criteria which now allows 100% loan to purchase price. The improvement enables customers to purchase the property below market value. While this is typically from close family, the lender is also able to offer this to tenants who are looking to buy from their landlords. The criteria enhancement improves Pepper’s current concessionary purchase offering, enabling customers to borrow up to 100% loan to purchase price with no deposit required and is available up to a maximum of 75% of full market value.
