Buy-to-let lender, Landbay, has announced the appointment of Scott Phillips as a new national account manager, strengthening its national accounts team as it expands its distribution reach.

Phillips joins Landbay with 20 years’ experience in the mortgage industry, much of it spent working in national accounts and in roles involving the management and development of sales teams. Most recently, he worked with Saffron for Intermediaries as an intermediary sales manager, having previously been head of sales at Moda Mortgages, part of Chetwood Bank, and a national account manager at Vida.

In his new role, he will work with Landbay’s network and mortgage club partners, supporting existing relationships and helping the lender reach a wider range of advisers and their landlord clients.

JammJar, the AI-powered operating system for mortgage advice firms, has appointed James Prosser as growth and partnerships director.

Prosser brings more than 20 years’ experience in the mortgage industry and was most recently commercial director at mortgage strategy.

He will work closely with Karl Griffin and the JammJar team to grow the business, build partnerships and develop relationships with brokerages, networks, mortgage clubs and the wider industry.
