Just Mortgages has promoted experienced compliance specialist, Colin Robson, to the role of senior regional quality manager. Having spent nearly six years at the firm, he will now help oversee the compliance support offered to both its employed and self-employed divisions and respective management teams. He will also lead on regular compliance training across teams and divisions, having worked across the mortgage market, including as an adviser, for more than 25 years. Robson started his career as an underwriter, before gaining his adviser qualification and joining a brokerage. He served at HSBC and RBS, before joining Just Mortgages in 2019.

Dudley Building Society has launched a new range of two-year fixed rate mortgage products, designed to cater for residential, expat and buy-to-let (BTL) borrowers. For residential borrowers, the two-year fix starts at 5.19% at up to 65% LTV with a £499 arrangement fee. It offers the flexibility to repay up to 10% of the advance annually without penalty. The two-year fix is also available at 5.34% at 75% LTV. Expats looking for residential or BTL mortgages are available to get a deal at 5.79% and 5.94% at 65% and 75% LTV respectively and both come with a £999 arrangement fee.

Canada Life has appointed new board directors. Andy Parsons joins the board as an independent non-executive director, having worked as finance director at businesses such as Just Group, LV=, Scottish Widows, Friends Life and AXA UK. Jake Lawrence also joins as a non-executive director in his role as executive vice-president and chief financial officer at Power Corporation and Power Financial. He has previously held various senior positions in finance, group treasury and global banking and markets in both Canada and the US during his two decades working at Scotiabank.
