Nivo has launched Lender Collect, an AI assistant designed to help manage specialist lending cases from initial broker enquiries through evidence gathering, underwriting preparation and post-decision conditions.
Available to UK intermediated lenders across bridging, specialist property, commercial and asset finance, the service builds on Nivo Collect, which is already used by more than 15 brokers.
Lender Collect uses a lender's product guides, criteria, procedures and application forms to assess enquiries, identify potential products and flag missing information. It can gather supporting documents, populate forms, arrange signatures and send reminders.
Company reports, identity checks and optional politically exposed person (PEP), sanctions and adverse media screening are also included.
Before underwriting, the system checks evidence against lender policies and prepares an editable report using the lender's template, bringing together case details, supporting documents, calculations and any discrepancies. It can also convert underwriting conditions into tasks covering outstanding evidence, forms and signatures through to completion.
The Manchester-based fintech provider, founded in 2017, said the platform tracks responsibilities and outstanding tasks across brokers, applicants, guarantors, solicitors, valuers and lender teams. Underwriters receive a consolidated evidence pack and draft report, while lending decisions, approvals, waivers and exceptions remain the responsibility of the lender's authorised team.
The service also includes encrypted data handling, an audit trail and controls designed to prevent client data from being used to train underlying AI models.
Michael Common, chief executive of Nivo, said: "Every intermediated lender runs the same process: a query comes in, evidence is gathered, an underwriter decides, and the conditions are worked through to completion.
"Nivo Collect showed brokers what an AI assistant can do with gathering, checking and chasing information. Lender Collect brings similar capabilities to lenders. Underwriters open a draft report built from checked evidence, with the decision firmly theirs. Nothing is approved, waived or decided by the AI."
