OMS launches API integration with Nationwide

One Mortgage System (OMS) has extended its mainstream reach through a full application programming interface (API) integration with Nationwide Building Society.

The single-input enquiry to completion processing platform for intermediaries said that the integration represents its first major partnership with "one of the big six" UK high street lenders, extending its footprint across the UK lending space.

As a result of the integration, OMS users will be able to access Nationwide’s product range, allowing more brokers to deliver lending solutions that can meet their clients’ demands.

OMS covers a range of product areas including residential, buy-to-let, second charge, equity release, bridging, commercial plus general insurance, and protection.

It is integrated with market-leading providers – Ignite, Submissions Brain, The Source, Twenty7Tec, iPipeline, Hometrack, Experian, Equifax, Uinsure, Air Sourcing and Knowledge Bank – to provide users with product sourcing, protection sourcing and criteria searching.

Managing director at OMS, Neal Jannels, said: "The influence of Nationwide on the UK lending landscape continues to grow, at pace, and it’s reassuring to see a lender of its size and scale constantly looking to improve efficiencies, accessibility and product availability through tech partnerships which are hugely beneficial to advisers and their clients.

"This integration represents a real breakthrough for OMS in the mainstream mortgage market following our rise to prominence across the more specialist lending sectors. And it’s just the beginning in our ongoing quest to make our platform the go-to partner for all lenders and the CRM solution of choice for intermediary firms across the UK."

Head of intermediary digital at Nationwide, Andy Tilsley, added: "New technical integrations, like this one with OMS, makes it easier for brokers to do business with us and improves the service overall. OMS’s use of data and the facility of API, means brokers are assured they have all the right information in one place to undertake a more efficient mortgage process with us and get to a decision in principle quicker than ever before."
