Wesleyan launches two new With Profits funds

Wesleyan has launched two new With Profit funds to increase access to the benefits of smoothed investments for advisers and their clients.

The new With Profits Cautious Fund, which is aimed at lower risk appetite investors, and the With Profits Adventurous Funds, which is for those seeking growth potential, are designed to help advisers meet a range of client objectives.

They will sit alongside the financial services mutual’s flagship With Profits Growth Fund, using smoothing to adjust returns over time and reduce the impact of day-to-day market volatility.

The expanded range gives advisers three options with different risk profiles when incorporating smoothed funds into diversified portfolios.

Wesleyan’s smoothed fund range is designed specifically for independent adviser platforms, offering daily pricing, daily trading and daily smoothing to give advisers and their clients instant access to the information they need.

Managing director, intermediary distribution at Wesleyan, Karen Blatchford, stated: "More advisers are looking for investment solutions that help clients to navigate market volatility while remaining focused on their long-term goals.

"Smoothing can play an important role in supporting better client outcomes, but advisers need access to solutions that reflect the differing needs and risk profiles of the people they advise. By expanding our With Profits range, we're giving advisers greater flexibility to recommend a smoothed investment solution that is appropriate for a broader range of clients.

"We've spent the last five years working to make smoothing more accessible by adding our fund to independent platforms, and these new funds are another important step in that journey. It also forms part of our wider ambition as a group to enhance our investment capabilities.”
