Avamore Capital partners with VAS Panel

Avamore Capital has appointed VAS Panel to run alongside its own in-house panel management database.

Under the terms of the agreement, Avamore stated that VAS Panel’s database will be used in “core geographical areas” to ensure the most relevant third-party RICS-qualified surveyors are instructed based on location, deal type and value.

The lender added that VAS Panel will operate its quality control processes to ensure clients have the greatest confidence when making lending decisions.

Avamore head of underwriting, Philip Gould, said: “We currently have a strong panel of our own advisors, but as volumes increase it is important that we have access to a wide range of highly proficient professionals across our core geographies. VAS enables us to access them easily as well as staying on top of service levels and providing industry leading quality control.

“Furthermore, VAS Panel has recently launched Project Monitoring, a new service which provides national coverage of monitoring surveyors throughout the country, which considering our focus on development finance is a huge benefit to us.

“We look forward to working with VAS and are excited to see how the partnership supports Avamore and the service we can offer to our customers.”

VAS Group co-founder, Gina May, added: “As part of our market evaluation process we have followed Avamore for a number of years, and we knew that VAS Panel could play an important part in their market growth strategy.

“The conversations with the lender from the outset were very productive and we will work in close partnership to ensure all targets are met.”
