e4 Strategic joins UK Finance as associate member

UK Finance has appointed e4 Strategic as an associate member, as the proptech firm looks to continue to support lenders and other stakeholders to improve the UK homebuying and conveyancing process.

UK Finance represents more than 300 firms across banking and financial services and plays a role in shaping policy.

As an associate member, e4 Strategic will contribute to discussions on digital infrastructure, risk management and improving the homebuying journey.

The move comes after e4 Strategic appointed Jackie Bennett OBE as non-executive director. Her appointment looks to strengthen the firm's UK presence and continue to roll out its VERSA platform and products across the lending and conveyancing sectors.

VERSA has been developed over the past four years in collaboration mortgage lenders and conveyancing experts, backed by over two decades of experience delivering similar solutions to lenders in South Africa.

Chief executive officer at e4 Strategic, Simon Slater, said: "Over the past few years, we have worked closely with lenders and conveyancers to understand how we can help with the offer to completion journey. The feedback has been clear, with manual processes, limited visibility and silo-ed systems being some of the main challenges to solve.

"Being part of UK Finance enables us to engage directly with those shaping the future of the mortgage market and to support wider industry priorities around transparency, efficiency and better consumer outcomes. If we are to reduce transaction times and manage risk more effectively, the industry must work together. UK Finance provides an excellent forum for those discussions, and we look forward to playing an active role."

Associate membership and strategic partnerships at UK Finance, Jason Cole, added: "We are delighted that e4 Strategic UK has joined UK Finance as an associate member. We particularly look forward to exploring and sharing their mortgage knowledge and working closely with them and our wider membership in 2026."
