Inspired Lending joins BDLA

Specialist short-term lender Inspired Lending has joined the Bridging & Development Lenders Association (BDLA).

Inspired Lending provides loans for property purchase, refinancing existing debt, releasing capital or restructuring a portfolio, as well as refurbishment finance to fund light or heavy renovation or conversion projects.

The BDLA remains the only trade association dedicated to representing the interests of bridging and development lenders, along with their customers. It currently has 46 lender members with combined loan books exceeding £9.1bn, as well as 43 associate members.

CEO of the BDLA, Vic Jannels, commented: “Inspired Lending is a new lender, but it benefits from a team of highly experienced specialist lending professionals with extensive track records who were keen to become members of the BDLA as quickly as possible.

“Membership of our association demonstrates that a lender is committed to delivering transparent, customer-focused lending as well as upholding standards for others to follow. It’s the gold standard for bridging and development lenders, carrying with it the responsibility of following our code of conduct and membership rules, and the credibility that comes with this.”
