Mortgage Brain and Halifax Intermediaries confirm integration

Halifax Intermediaries has been confirmed as the latest lender to go live on Mortgage Brain’s multi-lender application and submission gateway, Submissions Brain.

Formerly known as Lendex, the mortgage technology expert’s platform allows intermediaries to carry out multiple decisions in principle (DIPs), share key documents and submit full mortgage applications with participating lenders.

Submissions Brain is available to intermediaries for free as a standalone service, as well as through integrations with Mortgage Brain’s CRM, The Key and sourcing system, Sourcing Brain.

Halifax Intermediaries launched its trial of Submissions Brain in October, initially to a handful of intermediaries that included Just Mortgages and Fluent Mortgages, and has now rolled it out to the entire market. The integration of the service has been delivered via an API and means intermediaries can submit DIPs and receive a decision back through the platform.

Head of Halifax Intermediaries, Ian Wilson, commented: “We are pleased to go live to the full intermediary market on Submissions Brain. The trial was a great success and has reinforced our belief that Submissions Brain will help intermediaries to seamlessly place cases with Halifax.”

Mortgage Brain sales and marketing director, Neil Wyatt, added: “Halifax is one of the UK’s biggest lenders, and with good reason, so it’s a huge milestone to welcome them onto Submissions Brain.

“We have had a succession of lenders go live on the platform in recent months, with more still to come, which demonstrates the growing reputation of Submissions Brain. The platform is already providing tangible time-saving benefits to intermediaries of all sizes.”
