Mortgage Brain partners with Leeds Building Society

Mortgage Brain has announced that intermediaries using its submissions gateway can now request decisions in principle (DIPs) from Leeds Building Society, following a successful pilot phase.

Submissions Brain, which was previously known as Lendex, is Mortgage Brain’s multi-lender application and submission gateway that allows intermediaries to carry out multiple DIPs, share documentation and submit full mortgage applications with participating lenders through a single login.

Leeds Building Society’s addition means it now joins Accord Mortgages, TSB, Nationwide, Virgin Money, Coventry Building Society, Hinckley and Rugby, and Platform on the Submissions Brain gateway.

Further lenders are due to be added to the gateway in the months ahead, Mortgage Brain confirmed.

“We are passionate about supporting brokers and making the application process as straightforward as possible,” Leeds Building Society head of intermediary distribution, Martese Carton, said.

“The success of our Submissions Brain trial has demonstrated that this is a system which provides tangible benefits to advisers, and we are delighted that we can now go live to whole of market.”

Mortgage Brain sales and marketing director, Neil Wyatt, added: “Brokers and lenders alike are recognising the tangible difference Submissions Brain can make to the advice process. There is no question Submissions Brain saves brokers time and enables them to place cases quickly and smoothly.”
