Movemnt joins Open Property Data Association

Movemnt has become the latest firm to join the Open Property Data Association (OPDA).

The Association’s has an aim to speed up the homebuying by sharing digital property information across the home transaction.

Movemnt is part of the Houseful family of brands which includes property website Zoopla, estate agent software Alto, new homes software Yourkeys, and the provider of automated valuations and property insights, Hometrack.

Since it launched last year, OPDA has delivered open property data standards and models for trustable and shareable data. OPDA is the first organisation of its kind and is calling on the Government to deliver digitised property data at source. It is also asking for more clarity for the industry on executing a fully digital home buying market.

Movemnt will be joining OPDA’s working groups, focusing on standardising property data.

Our membership is an important part of our commitment to improving all parts of homebuying for all stakeholders including estate agents, conveyancers and consumers.
