Roma Finance has announced a series of hires and internal promotions since the beginning of the year. The specialist lender has as welcomed eight new team members and promoted four colleagues internally in 2026, which it said reflected both continued growth and a focus on developing talent from within the business. Among the changes, the lender has created a dedicated team to support its RomaPRO proposition, with Samantha Williamson promoted to commercial underwriting manager, Eleanor Kenworthy and Isabel Robbins also stepping into enhanced underwriting roles, and Stephen Barrick joining as a senior underwriter.

ONP Solicitors has relocated its Cardiff office to larger premises in the heart of the city centre. Part of the Movera group, the Cardiff hub of ONP Solicitors originally launched in June last year to expand the company’s reach into both Wales and the southwest of England for the first time. Having now doubled in size, the team of property lawyers has moved to larger premises at Brunel House.

Afin Bank has announced the appointment of Lisa Taylor as its newest underwriter. Taylor, who has joined the specialist lender from Pepper Money, has almost 25 years of experience in the mortgage and specialist lending sector, including roles at Precise Mortgages and Ocean Finance.
