Alternative Bridging Corporation has appointed Beata Szejna as a new underwriting assistant. She brings a wealth of experience in the financial sector to the role, having previously worked as a mortgage executive and mortgage advisor at Barclays. Prior to this, Szejna worked as a loan officer for London Mutual Credit Union. Alternative Bridging provides bridging and term loans, as well as development finance for residential and commercial purposes. It also offers an alternative overdraft facility that enables customers to draw down funds as and when they need them.

Buy to Let by Foundation has launched a new five-year fixed rate limited edition product. Available within the intermediary-only specialist lender’s F1 tier, the new product is available up to 75% LTV, with a rate of 5,59% and a 2.25% fee. The lender’s residential brand, Residential by Foundation, has also announced 30 bps cuts to its F1 two- and five-year fee-assisted fixed rate remortgage-only products. The two-year fix has product options at 80% LTV, now at 6.54% and 85% LTV at 6.74%, while the five-year fixes are available at 6.24% and 6.44% at 80% and 85% LTV. All four residential products are fee-assisted so come with a fixed £595, a free valuation, no application and cashback of £350.

Roger Morris has been appointed as group distribution director at Chetwood Financial. He joins the firm with over 30 years of experience in the mortgage industry, having held a number of senior positions. He co-founded em Financial in 2001, before joining Affirmative Finance as sales and marketing director in 2008. Morris moved to Precise Mortgages in 2011 and acted as sales director for nine years, before moving onto positions as group distribution director and group lending engagement director following Charter Court Financial Services’ combination with OneSavings Bank in 2019. Most recently, he served as director of mortgage division sales and distribution at Tandem Bank. Morris joins Chetwood as it looks to launch ModaMortgages and after the recent acquisition of CHL Mortgages for Intermediaries (CMI).
