News in brief – 11 September 2025

Fleet Mortgages has announced a range of price reductions across its two and five-year 75% LTV fixed rate products. The buy-to-let specialist lender has cut rates by between 10 and 15 basis points (bps) across both its standard and limited company mortgage options.

United Trust Bank (UTB) has completed a £5.2m regulated developer exit bridging loan to refinance a recently completed £12.75m country estate. The facility, introduced by founder of Forecast Finance, Paul Atkinson, enabled the borrower to refinance their existing development loan and repay unsecured debt.

conveybuddy has appointed Indya Scott as a new account manager to strengthen its broker-facing team. Scott, who has extensive experience in relationship management and client support, will work with conveybuddy’s broker users helping them provide conveyancing advice and recommendations to their clients.
