LiveMore has made two new appointments to its sales team. Nicola Palmer has joined the mortgage lender as key account manager for the South West, joining from Canada Life in the same role. As part of hernew role, Palmer will help build brokers’ business levels and income streams. LiveMore has also appointed Lisa Kemp as a telephone BDM. She has worked in financial services for almost two decades, holding positions at firms including Aviva, Royal Bank of Scotland, Santander and Skipton Building Society.

SmartSearch has promoted Andrew Booth to the position of vice president for technology. His promotion is one of 156 across the nearly 200-strong team. Booth joined the anti-money laundering software firm five years ago and has served as its head of technology. In his new role, he will have greater responsibility over company infrastructure and its wider technology strategy. SmartSearch said that it recognises the role of Booth’s promotion in the development and deployment of its new generation compliance platform, which is trusted by more than 6,500 client firms and 60,000 users.

Hampshire Trust Bank (HTB) has expanded its development finance team by appointing Lucas Cutts as a new relationship manager. He has a decade’s experience in the in the UK property investment and conveyancing sectors, having previously work for Blackfinch Property, originating and managing bridging and development finance loans. Prior to that, he managed property transactions at a specialist conveyancer. In the new role at HTB, Cutts will be making sure the bank’s development finance projects in London and the South East, leading the due diligence and progressing deals through to completion.
