StreamBank has strengthened its lending division by appointing Halimah Nawaz and Kellan Allison as sales coordinators.
The pair will work closely with brokers and StreamBank’s business development managers (BDMs), providing day-to-day support throughout the lending process.
As part of the wider team changes, Amy Robinson has moved from her role as BDM into underwriting, with Katie Wild taking responsibility for the Midlands, Wales and West region as BDM.
Castle Trust Bank has further enhanced its bridging proposition by extending its light refurbishment range to provide greater choice for customers looking to borrow between £150,000 and £200,000.
The bank has introduced new versions of its existing light refurbishment products, available at 0.78% per month for loans from £150,000 to £200,000.
The new options are available across both Castle Trust Bank’s standard light refurbishment product and its light refurbishment with drawdowns product, giving brokers greater flexibility to structure finance according to the individual requirements of their clients and their refurbishment projects.
Hanley Economic Building Society has expanded its specialist lending proposition through the launch of its first holiday let mortgage range.
The new range initially consists of two variable discount products, both available up to 80% LTV. The first is a two-year variable discount mortgage with an initial pay rate of 5.54%, representing a 2.2% discount from the society’s standard variable rate. The second variable discount mortgage has an initial pay rate of 5.40%, representing a 2.34% discount from the society’s SVR.
The products come with a minimum loan size of £30,000 and a maximum loan size of £600,000. It is also available to expat applicants with foreign income allowed, up to 90 days of personal use each year, first-time landlords considered, no geographical restrictions, and properties marketed through Airbnb accepted.
Black & White Bridging has completed a £2m first charge commercial bridging facility to support the acquisition of a Grade II listed freehold hotel in Shropshire by its long-standing operator.
The borrower was given the opportunity to acquire the freehold following their long-standing involvement with the business.
The specialist lender provided the speed of funding needed to complete the purchase, allowing the operator to take ownership of the property. The £2m facility was completed at 55% LTV, building on the relationship between the lender, broker and borrower.
Fleet Mortgages has announced the reintroduction of two five-year fixed rate HMO and MUFB product options.
The new products are available up to 75% LTV and come with a zero-fee option at 6.09%, and a fixed-fee option at 5.99% with a fee of £1,499 on a maximum loan of £750,000.
The new products are available for both HMO or MUFB house purchase or remortgage, and come with £1,000 cashback on completion.
