News in brief - 25 August 2026

West One has reduced rates across its entire range of fixed rate commercial mortgage products by 75 bps, giving brokers access to more competitive pricing across commercial and semi-commercial lending.

As a result, its semi-commercial fixed rates start from 7.34%, while commercial fixed rates are available from 7.94%.

The move comes as borrowers continue to navigate an uncertain interest rate, with fixed rate options providing greater certainty over future borrowing costs.
