Just Mortgages has appointed Ray Rodrigo as divisional sales director, expanding its employed division. In this role, he will be tasked with growing his team of employed mortgage advisers, supporting Felicity J. Lord estate agency branches across London. He brings over 25 years of experience in the mortgage market and financial services to the role, having started his career at Barclays, serving in management roles in the seven and a half year tenure. He has also worked at HBOS and most recently joined Connells as a senior area mortgage manager.

CHL Mortgages has launched a new limited edition range of two- and five-year fixed rate standard and HMO/MUFB buy-to-let (BTL) products. The new range features standard fixed rates starting from 4.04% for two-year fixes and 4.74% for five-year fixes at 75% LTV respectively. The range also includes HMO/MUFB products for properties up to six bedrooms or units with two-year fixed rates starting from 5.55% and five-year fixes at 4.78% at 75% LTV respectively.

Eleanor Russell-Blackburn has been appointed as business development manager at United Trust Bank (UTB). As part of the role, she will lead the bank’s asset finance broker support in Scotland. Russell-Blackburn has considerable experience in SME and commercial finance and the Scottish asset finance market, starting her career at Haydock Finance. She joins UTB from Shawbrook Bank, where she served as senior BDM. The appointment comes as UTB revealed that it wanted to expand its activities in Scotland and establish a local presence.
