conveybuddy has appointed Luke Christodoulides as its new head of distribution.

He joins the conveyancing distributor following more than 22 years at NatWest, where he held a number of senior broker-facing positions including field area sales manager, corporate account manager, head of corporate accounts, and most recently, national account manager.

In his new role, Christodoulides will be responsible for building and developing strategic relationships with mortgage networks, clubs, larger advisory firms and other industry partners, broadening access to conveybuddy’s conveyancing proposition and developing new commercial partnerships.

Air has announced that it has collaborated with the software creator, Mortgage Brain, reinforcing its commitment to supporting advisers considering all lending options for old customers.

Under the initiative, mainstream advisers starting their research in Mortgage Brain will be able to transition to accessing the full capabilities of the Air sourcing system.

The collaboration helps showcase the firm’s belief in the importance of advisers considering all options in an ever-evolving later life lending product landscape, and align the later life lending sector to the wider mainstream financial advice landscape, thanks to the distribution reach of Mortgage Brain’s existing network of 15,000 advisers and 100+ lenders and Air’s 10,000+ members.

Matt Surridge has been appointed to the newly created role of proposition director at LSL Financial Services as it looks to build on its broker offering.

In his new role, he will lead the development of LSL’s broker proposition across the Primis network and TMA Club. His remit also includes developing new commercial opportunities, strategic partnerships and revenue streams that add value for brokers.

Surridge has more than two decades of experience in the mortgage market, and prior to his new role, was director of LSL-owned brokerage, Linear Financial Solutions, which he joined in February 2025. Before this, he spent more than three and a half years at MPowered Mortgages, latterly as sales director, following earlier roles at Mortgage Brain, Countrywide and Lloyds Banking Group.

Buckinghamshire Building Society has announced a series of rate changes across its mortgage range, including updates to a number of its three-year products.

The society expanded its offering in September, introducing new options across a number of its key lending areas. The latest changes affect products across everyday residential, retirement, retirement interest only, credit restore, first-time buyer, buy-to-let and portfolio buy-to-let.

Among the changes, three-year retirement and interest only interest fixed rates will move from 5.99% to 6.19%, while its three-year fixed credit restore products will now start from 6.39%. Furthermore, its three-year fixed everyday residential and first-time buyer products at 95% LTV will now start from 6.39%.

Foundation has announced a series of enhancements across its BTL and residential ranges.

The changes include the launch of two new BTL F1 limited edition remortgage-only products at 75% LTV, and the specialist lender has also reduced rates across selected 90% LTV residntial products, further strengthening its offering for borrowers with smaller deposits.

Foundation said the latest additions reinforce its commitment to supporting landlords and property investors with competitive specialist lending solutions, while the residential rate reductions ensure brokers continue to have access to options for clients seeking higher LTV borrowing.
