One Mortgage System and Monument Technology launch partnership

One Mortgage System (OMS) has announced a new partnership with Monument Technology.

The move will combine OMS’ advanced originations solution with Monument’s banking platform as a service, creating an end-to-end proposition for lenders.

Launched in 2023, OMS Originations streamlines the end-to-end origination journey for both the intermediary and direct submission routes. It has a customisable dashboard that allows lenders to create efficient workflows to meet borrowing requirements without having to endure development times or additional costs.

Monument, which also launched in 2023, is a banking platform as a service providing services from digital channels, through core banking, to other offerings needed to run and grow a bank or building society.

“Partnering with Monument Technology is a significant step in our journey towards a full end-to-end service proposition and has already enabled us to engage with many lenders seeking to move providers,” said OMS CEO, Dale Jannels.

“With the emergence of AI, it’s clear that choosing the right technology partner is high on the agenda for many banks, building societies and specialist lenders as their needs, along with the needs of their borrowers, savers and brokers are changing. Gone are the days of staying with archaic platforms because it’s ‘always been that way’.

“[This year] is already shaping to be an exciting year for OMS Originations and we look forward to working with the Monument Technology team over the coming months and years.”

Monument CEO, Steve Britain, added: “We are delighted to be partnering with OMS to integrate its broker portal and mortgage origination capability with the end-to-end Monument platform to enable our first client, Ecology Building Society, to dramatically enhance its lending proposition.

“We also look forward to bringing OMS and the Monument platform together for the benefit of other clients going forward.”
