One Mortgage System partners with Earl Shilton Building Society

One Mortgage System (OMS) has announced a partnership with the Earl Shilton Building Society to deliver its full Originations platform.

The move will support the building society’s ambitions to transform its digital infrastructure.

Earl Shilton offers specialist mortgage criteria and products, including remortgages, self-build, and later life lending. Its approach to underwriting is personal, with each case assessed individually rather than relying solely on automation.

By adopting OMS Originations, the platform will enhance Earl Shilton’s case tracking, reduce paperwork, and make the mortgage journey more efficient for both intermediary partners and customers.

Launched in April 2023, OMS Originations streamlines the whole end-to-end origination journey for both the intermediary and direct submission route.

OMS CEO, Dale Jannels, commented: “Earl Shilton Building Society is a great example of a lender that understands the value in combining personal service with smart technology. By adopting OMS Originations, they’re making it easier for intermediaries to do business with them, while keeping the customer experience front and centre.

“We’re excited to support the Society on its digital plans and look forward to working closely as it evolves to meet the needs of the modern borrower.”

Earl Shilton Building Society CEO, Scott Devereux, added: “We are committed to modernising our operations while staying true to our personalised, member-first approach.

“Partnering with OMS is a key step in our digital transformation journey, enabling us to streamline our mortgage origination process without compromising on the tailored underwriting and human touch that set us apart.

“This investment supports our goal of being a modern mutual-embracing innovation to improve service, enhance efficiency, and make it easier for intermediaries and members to do business with us.”
