Paradigm Consulting partners with Xpress Mortgages

Paradigm Consulting has launched a new partnership with directly authorised (DA) mortgage brokerage firm, Xpress Mortgages.

The range of compliance and consultancy support provided by Paradigm Consulting covers annual audits, reviews of processes, functions, policies, and documentation, as well as support around training staff.

Xpress Mortgages, based in Surrey, was established by Rachel Lummis in 2006 and offers services to cover a range of mortgage clients including first-time buyers, home movers, buy-to-let landlords and investors, as well as clients with specialist lending needs.

As part of the new partnership, Paradigm’s team of consultants can offer Xpress Mortgages bespoke consultancy support and guidance on Consumer Duty, tailored to the firms’ regulatory requirements.

“In today’s world of regulatory change, it is almost impossible for firms to navigate the myriad of changes and requests for data from the Financial Conduct Authority without external support,” Paradigm’s mortgages technical director, Christine Newell, commented.

“We are delighted that Rachel has chosen Paradigm to support Xpress Mortgages through these changes and we look forward to a closer working relationship with Rachel and her team.”

Director of Xpress Mortgages, Rachel Lummis, added: “As a DA firm we needed to appoint a firm that understands the needs and requirements of a small but busy mortgage brokerage.

“Having had a relationship for many years with Paradigm via its mortgage distribution proposition, and recently attending its workshops and training covering Consumer Duty, we knew Paradigm were the right fit for Xpress. Paradigm offer the support we need for our compliance, auditing, and training, working closely with us to ensure we are delivering the best possible customer outcomes.”
