TMA launches free version of Toolbox

TMA has announced the launch of a new free version of the club’s customer relationship management (CRM) system, Toolbox.

The new tool, Toolbox Lite, is a seamless ‘one-input system’ and equipped with a built-in, exclusive General Insurance (GI) quote and apply engine.

TMA suggested Toolbox Lite will allow advisers to select, compare premiums and product features, as well as apply for cover with TMA’s five insurers – all within 15 minutes – with the tool able to easily generate GI quotes through its quotation system, to deliver fast results for DA advisers from multiple suppliers.

The club added that the system will help advisers increase their GI sales without any extra cost to their business and ensure they are able to secure the necessary cover for clients as the coronavirus pandemic progresses – particularly whilst working remotely, TMA noted.

TMA development director, Lisa Martin, commented: “Ensuring DA firms are well-equipped to support their customers’ needs during this time is our top priority, and this was the key driver behind the decision to launch Toolbox Lite.

“Over the coming weeks and months, it will become even more important for advisers to get in touch with customers to ensure their policy fits their current needs. This is particularly vital for those clients who may not have the necessary cover in place.

“With Toolbox Lite, the administrative burden will be completely lifted for brokers. DA firms will be able to access accurate and up-to-date information on the club’s GI panel and produce quotes for clients quickly – features which will be particularly appealing to intermediaries at this challenging time.”
