True Potential launches partnership with Oxford Risk

True Potential Wealth Management has announced a strategic partnership with behavioural risk suitability fintech, Oxford Risk.

The move will see True Potential roll out Oxford Risk’s Investor Compass technology across its national advice firm, supporting more than 1,200 financial advisers and over 200,000 clients.

Investor Compass enables advisers and clients to complete an investment risk suitability assessment in minutes, analysing up to 20 behavioural dimensions, such as composure, confidence and impulsivity.

The partnership with Oxford Risk aims to enhance True Potential’s proprietary technology by integrating advanced behavioural risk tolerance analytics directly into the advice process, and True Potential said the collaboration will support the delivery of more consistent advice alongside improved client experiences.

True Potential Wealth Management chief client officer, Jamie Sexton, said: “Partnering with Oxford Risk to deploy its Investor Compass solution strengthens our ability to deliver more personalised, insight-driven advice.

“We recognise that assessing risk tolerance is only one part of the solution, so we’re moving beyond a standardised attitude to risk questionnaire to give our advisers and clients a more holistic view of suitability. The ease with which clients can complete the questionnaire and understand the process is especially appealing, and the outputs empower our financial advisers to better serve their clients.”

Oxford Risk’s chief client officer, James Pereira-Stubbs, added: “We are delighted to provide the most holistic and robust investor suitability solution to True Potential to improve their client experience, support better adviser-client conversations, and build the foundations for personalised behavioural engagement.”
