Inspired Lending joins FIBA

Inspired Lending has become the latest firm to join the Financial Intermediary & Broker Association (FIBA) as part of its focus on maintaining close dialogue with brokers.

Inspired Lending, founded in 2023, provides unregulated bridging and refurbishment finance solutions across England, Wales and Scotland.

It offers loans from £250,000 to £5m, supporting a range of residential, semi-commercial and commercial property transactions.

FIBA represents specialist finance intermediaries across the UK and works with lenders, brokers and industry stakeholders in areas including professional development, market standards and broker education.

The association also provides a platform for lenders and intermediaries to share insights and discuss developments across the specialist finance sector.

CEO at Inspired Lending, Gavin Diamond, stated: "The specialist finance market has matured considerably over the past few years. Borrowers are more informed, brokers are dealing with more sophisticated transactions and lenders are being asked to demonstrate far more than simply competitive pricing. In that environment, understanding what’s happening across the market becomes just as important as understanding your own business.

"What FIBA does particularly well is bring together professionals who understand those realities. It creates an environment where lenders and brokers can have honest conversations about what’s working, what’s changing and where improvements can be made. Those discussions ultimately benefit everybody involved, from brokers and lenders through to the borrowers themselves."

Chair at FIBA, Martin Reynolds, added: "Relationships remain central to specialist finance and brokers place significant value on working with lenders that are accessible, responsive and prepared to look at cases individually.

"Inspired Lending has built a reputation for taking a practical approach to complex transactions while maintaining close relationships with intermediaries. Those qualities align strongly with what brokers are looking for in today’s market and make the lender a welcome addition to FIBA.

"We look forward to working with Gavin and the team and supporting their engagement with our members across the specialist finance sector."
