Foundation Home Loans has launched a new fee assisted legal service, which is available to borrowers remortgaging to the lender across a range of eligible standard residential products. The new service, offered on two- and five-year fixed remortgage-only limited edition products, offers clients the opportunity to secure the services of a solicitor without having to find or employ one. Furthermore, a number of basic legal costs are covered. Remortgaging borrowers who utilise the service secure a new rate, assistance with legal fees for loans up to £1m, as well as a free valuation and no application fee.

The OneFamily Group has appointed Adam Cubitt as its new head of distribution for its Beagle Street brand. In the new role, he will expand the organisation’s intermediary distribution and drive new business to support the group’s growth. This follows the acquisition of Beagle Street in 2022. Cubitt brings protection insurance experience, having started his career as an adviser at Howden Life & Health, before transitioning into the commercial team as an account manager. In 2022, he joined AIG Life as a protection specialist, before becoming national intermediary sales manager.

Landbay has reduced rates across its limited edition, which is now available for remortgage and new purchases, with all eight products in the range being reduced by 0.10% As a result, the limited edition five-year fixed rate at 75% LTV is available from 4.79% and 5.39% with a 5% and 2% fee respectively. On Landbay’s limited edition AVM five-year fix at 65% LTV, rates start from 4.59% and 5.39% with a 6% and 2% fee respectively.
