Black & White Bridging has appointed Susan Ansermoz as its new lending manager, to support the company’s expansion. She brings over seven years of underwriting experience to the role, having worked at NatWest and Bank of Ireland. As part of the role, she will work closely with the team to help manage the company’s growing case volume as demand for its lending solutions continues to rise.

Anna Macdonald has been appointed as an independent non-executive director at Landbay. She joins the buy-to-let lender with over two decades of experience in institutional and wealth management, most recently working as an investment manager at Aubrey Capital Management. She has also held roles as a fund manager at Amati Global Investors and Henderson Global Investors, and is a regular commentary on BBC Radio 4’s Today Programme, BBC TV, Sky News and Reuters TV.

MPowered Mortgages has cut rates on all of its two- and three-year fixed rate mortgages by up to 0.28% for new purchase and remortgage customers. For new purchase customers, rates start at 4.21% and 4.19% at two- and three-years respectively. Both products are available at up to 60% LTV and come with a £999 fee. This follows MPowered cutting its SVR on Friday by 0.75% at 6.74% (BBR +1.99%).
