The Right Mortgage & Protection Network and The Right DA Club has appointed Mark Gould as its new national account manager across both propositions. As part of the role, he will work to bring new member firms on board for both the network and the DA Club, support existing firms and working on training requirements for The Right Mortgage and individual member firms. Gould brings over 30 years’ experience in financial services to the role, including business development and recruitment roles at firms such as Openwork, Quilter, 2plan Wealth Management, and most recently as adviser recruitment director at AFH Wealth Management.

Lichelle Samra has joined MPowered Mortgages as key account manager for the Midlands. She joins the firm from NatWest, where she was business development manager (BDM) responsible for growing NatWest’s client base in the UK. Before this, she was mortgage BDM at Prosperity Wealth, managing clients in the UK, Middle East and Asia. Samra has also held business development related roles, working with core and wealth clients at Barclays and The Royal Bank of Scotland. She will report to sales director at MPowered Mortgages, Matt Surridge.

KSEYE has promoted Nathan Thorne to the role of BDM for South England and South Wales, where he will help brokers to deliver the firm’s flexible bridging finance solutions to their clients. He joined KSEYE in 2012, beginning his time at the company as a case manager before moving to a telephone BDM role in May 2023. KSEYE has provided specialist property finance supported by a range of funding sources since 2012, lending more than £600m in the process. The lender gives brokers upfront certainty, with underwriter validated decisions within 24 hours on loans up to £2m.
