Experian Marketing Services has launched Consumer Sync, a new digital linkage solution. It is designed to enable clients to match first-party data to relevant offline and online IDs without the traditional reliance on cookies. Consumer Sync, which is available now, has current coverage of 55% of UK households and over 120 million addressable IDs. The inter-operable solution allows businesses to connect with their audience across any channel and device while prioritising privacy.

Defaqto has launched new independent Consumer Duty profiles for the top 20 most frequently recommended discretionary MPS portfolios. The profiles, which have been launched by the financial product and market intelligence source, are designed to help advisers meet their regulatory needs as part of Consumer Duty, and are available in Defaqto’s Engage and Centra software, which is used by 30% of UK financial advisers. The profiles cover MPS providers such as Brooks Macdonald, Quilter and Tatton, and enable advisers to compare products, funds, or DFM portfolios in a peer group on the same basis using the same data. Advisers will be able to use the documents to report on the target market of the product in question and understand who the target market is not, as well as understand whether a product offers fair value.

Hodge has announced a rise in procuration fees for its broker partners from 0.25% to 0.30%. The enhancement by the complex lending expert applies to mortgage product transfers across all of Hodge’s products in recognition of the brokers it works with and their continuation to secure the right customer outcomes. The move follows a series of ongoing adjustments made by Hodge in recent months to its range of later life and other specialist mortgage products, to offer high net worth individuals and customers with complex incomes even greater financial flexibility in the current climate.
