Castle Trust Bank has appointed Tyrone Alexander as a business development manager (BDM) for London in Castle Trust Bank’s sales team. He brings experience in the bridging finance sector, having worked in the industry since 2018. He joins the firm from Lendhub, where he served as a BDM, developing a track record of supporting brokers in delivering specialist lending solutions to their clients. In his new role, Alexander will work alongside regional account manager, Sammi Gilbank, to provide specialist support to brokers across London.

The Right Mortgage & Protection Network has launched a new accreditation scheme for advisers who offer advice services in the buy-to-let mortgage space. Available to individuals active within the network who fulfil the criteria, BTL accredited advisers are designated as those who offer specialist advice in this product sector, who hold competent adviser status with the network for both mortgages and protection who commit to working closely with The Right Mortgage within the BTL space. In order to achieve the accreditation, the adviser will need to meet a quality metric, as determined by the network, with over 80% file grading throughout their cases.

Gillian Grace has been appointed as managing surveyor at Countrywide Surveying Services (CSS). During her over two decade-long career, she joins CSS from e.surv Chartered Surveyors, where she spent over six years as a residential surveyor and valuer. With extensive experience in both residential and quantity surveying, Grace has also held roles at Sir Robert McAlpine and Laing O’Rourke. In her new role, she will oversee surveying operations, lead a team of surveyors and work closely with the regional management team. Grace will also play a role in mentoring trainee surveyors and providing peer-to-peer training support.
