Pepper Money has promoted Alex Hall to the role of regional development manger for the South West. He joined the firm as an underwriter in March 2022 and has helped brokers match their customers with mortgages that suit their needs. As part of the role, Hall will support brokers in finding a home for their cases that fall outside the mould of the mainstream mortgage lender, whether that be due to adverse credit, credit score, or a complex income structure.

Melton Building Society is now offering landlords greater choice and flexibility with the launch of four new buy-to-let fixes. Under the changes, there are now two new products available for business BTL landlords and two for family BTL landlords. Melton has said that this will further support existing and prospective landlords with the security that comes with fixing their rates. The business BTL rates are available over two or five years at 5.35% and 5.05% respectively, both with a £995 fee. The family BTL fixes is available at two and five-year fixes at 5.95% and 5.15%, both with a £199 fee. All products are available at a maximum of 75% LTV.

Donna Lambert has been appointed as business development manager at Time Finance in its invoice finance team. She brings over 16 years of experience to the role, having held roles in relationship management at RBS Invoice Finance and Bibby Financial Services before moving on to sales roles at Renaissance Asset Finance and Grenke UK. In her new role, Lambert will be responsible for building her network of introducers across the South East.
