Paradigm launches new partnership with Air

Paradigm has announced a new partnership with the later life lending platform, Air.

Members of the mortgage, protection and compliance services provider will be able to benefit from a referral partnership with Air, giving them access to its range of tools, resources and solutions to be active on the provision of later life lending advice.

The partnership will also provide Paradigm firms with access to Air’s support services, referral options, training resources and client recommendation tools, such as its sourcing system and the Air Academy.

Paradigm said that the new collaboration would enhance its ability to support directly authorised firms with compliant, client-first solutions across all stages of the borrower lifecycle.

Director of mortgages at Paradigm, Richard Howes, said: "We know the later life lending space is growing significantly in importance for advisers and clients alike, particularly given the demographic and economic trends we’re all experiencing. For those firms who want to access this market and to grow their offering, we can now offer full access to Air and its vast range of resource and support services, including excellent commercial terms.

"We’re therefore very pleased to be bringing Air into the Paradigm partner fold. Their deep market knowledge, commitment to adviser education, and focus on positive customer outcomes make them an ideal fit for our members. We look forward to seeing many firms benefit from this collaboration."

Chief executive officer at Air, Will Hale, added: "We’re delighted to be working with Paradigm and to offer their member firms access to the full range of Air’s expertise and support. Later life lending has featured prominently in recent speeches from senior FCA representatives, with recognition of its importance in terms of supporting the needs of older customers as well as the role it can play in addressing some of society’s major challenges.

"With later life lending moving from a niche to a norm, and products having evolved significantly, its vital advisers consider all options and have a trusted route into the sector. Our team are here to help Paradigm firms realise the opportunity to deliver better outcomes for customers alongside unlocking the commercial value embedded within their businesses.

"Furthermore, by collaborating with Paradigm on packaged compliance and quality assurance services, focused on the specific risks involved in later life lending, we will ensure this potential can be achieved safely and sustainably. We believe this partnership will make a real difference to firms wanting to deliver holistic, life-stage appropriate lending solutions."
