John Goddard has been appointed as the new chief executive officer (CEO) at investment management firm, Quilter Cheviot.
He will succeed Andy McGlone, who will leave at the end of the month after 31 years at the firm, in order to pursue other opportunities.
Quilter Cheviot said that Goddard has extensive experience and a strong track record in driving strategic growth initiatives across multiple businesses and jurisdictions.
He will join the investment management firm following a 28-year career at HSBC, where he held several senior leadership positions.
CEO at Quilter, Steven Levin, said: "We are really pleased to have Goddard take over as chief executive at Quilter Cheviot. The business has evolved and adapted and is now in a really strong position to deliver further growth. John brings a huge amount of knowledge and experience from his time in the industry and I look forward to working closely with him.”
"I would also like to thank McGlone for his leadership and significant contribution to Quilter Cheviot over his many years of service."
Goddard concluded: "Quilter Cheviot is rightly recognised as one of the leading wealth management firms within the high-net-worth market, and I am delighted to be joining at an exciting time for the business. As the market continues to evolve, we are in a great position to unlock opportunities for clients and deliver value through our quality propositions and services."
