Quilter appoints two firms to its advice network

Quilter Financial Planning has welcomed two new appointed representative firms to its advice network.

The financial advice network has partnered with Sports Media and Entertainment Wealth Management, which is a newly formed business led by former chartered wealth manager at Coutts, Obinna Ikedife.

The business specialises in providing wealth advice for high net worth and ultra-high net worth clients across the sports, media and entertainment sectors.

Ikedife has over 15 years’ experience in the industry and has worked with names across the fields of football, music, film and television.

He said: "I am really excited to take this next step in my career by building my own firm and being a part of the Quilter Financial Planning network. We chose Quilter because of their strong reputation and their comprehensive range of support. Helping sports and entertainment clients with their financial planning is a true passion of mine as they have unique and complex needs, and benefit hugely from advice."

Holroyd Wealth Management has also joined Quilter Financial Planning as a strategic partner.

The firm, based in North Somerset and Bristol, consists of principle and chartered financial planner, Anthony Holroyd, who was previously a wealth manager at HSBC.

He has over two decades of experience in the financial services sector, having held roles at Attivo and NatWest.

The firm will provide investment, retirement and protection advice.

Holroyd said: "We are proud to join Quilter as a strategic partner and we’re confident the network will provide us with the tools, resources and guidance to grow the business and serve our clients. Having worked in the advice industry for over two decades I am thrilled to be starting my own firm and help provide high quality financial planning to my clients in the South West and beyond."

Managing director at Quilter Financial Planning, Stephen Fryett, added: "We are pleased to welcome these two new firms led by incredibly experienced principals to our network. Both Ikedife and Holroyd have big ambitions to grow their respective businesses and share our commitment to delivering high-quality advice and service to their clients. We look forward to supporting their growth and development with Quilter Financial Planning."
