Rosemount appoints Hereford Wealth and Financial Planning as new trading style

Rosemount Financial Solutions has appointed Hereford Wealth and Financial Planning as a trading style.

Hereford Wealth and Financial Planning was established by Alistair Fitt, who has been worked in financial advice for more than two decades. Fitt was previously partner at Hereford Pension, Investment and Mortgage Centre LLP.

Rosemount is an independent mortgage, protection and financial planning network, founded in 2006. It has qualified advisers across the UK that cover a range of aspects of financial planning.

Chief executive officer at Rosemount, Ahmed Bawa, said: "We are delighted to welcome Hereford Wealth and Financial Planning to the Rosemount Financial Solutions team. Fitt’s attitude towards supporting clients in building long-term financial health aligns perfectly with our network.

"Fitt has extensive experience in financial services, so it’s extremely gratifying that he has pinpointed Rosemount as the right principal for his business. We have put a lot of work into providing bespoke support for our appointed representatives, ensuring that whether they are an established business or a new firm Rosemount is on hand to deliver what they need."

Fitt added: "After spending my entire 20-year career in financial services working under two directly authorised firms, moving away was not an easy decision. My clients trust me and I needed to feel the same sense of trust in a network.

"Having spoken with Bawa and members of the wider team, it was clear that there was a ‘family’ based approach to the way that Rosemount Financial Solutions works. Alongside this, they have a progressive and innovative outlook to the business and towards financial services in general.

"Rosemount's reputation for providing a personal feel and supportive culture aligned perfectly with my views, and I’m excited at the prospect of working together."
