Seven financial planning firms join Clifton Wealth Partnership

Seven adviser firms have joined Clifton Wealth Partnership (CWP) following an acquisition and integration process.

The firm said that it has been working with each of the adviser businesses for different periods in the lead up to the final acquisitions, extending from eight months to several years, depending on the firm’s individual needs.

The firms that have joined CWP include Colchester-based Capel Court, as well as Financial Solutions Wales and Davies Craddock, which are both based in Llanelli.

Bristol-based Tailormade Financial Services has also joined CWP, as well as Absolute Financial Services, which is headquartered in Nottingham, and London Private Wealth.

Clifton Wealth Partnership Portishead has also been acquired by CWP.

Overall, the acquisitions have added £500m assets under management and 25 team members to CWP.

Managing director at CWP, Anthony Carty, said: We’re so pleased to welcome each of these fantastic firms and their teams into the Clifton family. There should be no sugar coating it, any integration and acquisition process requires hard work from everyone involved. That’s why we take great care to really listen to the needs of each individual business first, before putting tailored integration and resource plans in place.

"This process shouldn’t happen overnight and we believe it’s essential for the acquiring firm to have the technology and infrastructure in place to bring the businesses together effectively."
