The Moving Hub confirms Legal & General tie-up

The Legal & General Mortgage Club has added conveyancing platform and case management system The Moving Hub to its SmartrRefer network of specialist partners.

The Moving Hub offering is designed to help introducers such as mortgage intermediaries, financial advisers and estate agents connect to one of the largest panels of vetted solicitors across England and Wales.

The company says it is the first conveyancing platform to offer referral fees up front rather than on completion, with no clawbacks, and the first to consider the case capacity of each solicitor on the network so as not to overload any individual.

The Legal & General Mortgage Club is the largest and longest-running mortgage club in the UK, involved in around 30% of the intermediary mortgage market and one in five of all mortgages in the country.

SmartrRefer is its network of selected specialist partners and master broker firms, which Legal & General members can refer their complex cases to.

The Moving Hub’s CEO Peter Joseph said the new partnerships was not one that happened “overnight”.

“As a company we have, quite rightly, been subjected to a rigorous due diligence process and our systems have been tested extensively by Legal & General Mortgage Club,” he explained. “It’s even more satisfying to be chosen as one of a select few conveyancing partners after such a demanding process, as this really does showcase the innovative nature and added value attached to our proposition.”

Legal & General Mortgage Club’s head of broker relationships, Craig Hall, added: “Conveyancing is an integral part of the mortgage process and it was important our partners were able to meet the high standards we expect for our members. Through The Moving Hub our advisers will have access to not only conveyancing expertise but also competitive pricing and quality service.”
