Absolute Financial Group in talks with eight IFA firms

Absolute Financial Group has confirmed it is in talks with eight independent financial adviser (IFA) firms about joining the group.

The IFA consolidator said the pipeline is the start of a strategy to build a larger independent financial planning business by uniting advisory businesses within a unified, well-resourced structure.

Absolute Financial Group launched in August last year with an equity commitment of £115m from Inflexion Private Equity Partners LLP, Tatton Asset Management and the management team.

In December, Absolute Financial Management was the first company to join the group, and today HR Independent Financial Services, a firm based in South Brent, Devon has become the second to join the consolidator.

“We’re excited for HR Independent Financial Services to be joining Absolute – we share the same values and culture of delivering clients the very best advice, underpinned by strong ethics, integrity while maintaining the legacy of their successful business,” said Absolute Financial Group’s CEO, David Carter.

“We are currently in talks with a number of other firms and look forward to growing and strengthening our business with the very best advisers from across the UK.”
