L&G Insurance adds products to Next Intelligence mortgage club panel

Legal & General Insurance, part of LV= General Insurance, has announced it is adding its products to the Next Intelligence mortgage club panel of preferred insurers.

The partnership will provide mortgage brokers and their clients with access to the insurer’s full range of products available through its intermediary channel.

L&G Insurance suggested the move will also enable Next Intelligence to give its directly authorised member firms a wider variety of general insurance (GI) products.

Legal & General Insurance head of intermediary, Sarah Watts, commented: “We welcome the opportunity to extend our partnership with Mortgage Intelligence. Next Intelligence is a highly respected mortgage and insurance club and by joining its GI panel, its member firms will now have access to our suite of GI products.”

Next Intelligence managing director, Sally Laker, added: “We’re delighted to be adding L&G Insurance, part of LV = General Insurance, onto our preferred GI provider panel for Next Intelligence member firms.

“We’re confident that SmartQuote will vastly reduce the amount of time it takes for advisers to offer home insurance. With the reduced risk of accidental non-disclosure and 0% interest charge when paying by monthly direct debits, it’s also a great message for advisers to discuss with their clients.”
