Darlington Building Society has appointed Michael Conville as its new chief customer officer. He has joined the society from Newcastle Building Society, where he held senior roles as both head of mortgage operations and interim chief customer officer. Conville said that his priority is to build stronger relationships with local communities, businesses and charities.

Atom bank has introduced a number of enhancements to its broker portal and back office processes. In total, 87 improvements have been added to the broker portal in the last year, many of which were the direct result of broker feedback. The enhancements have accelerated Atom’s service times, with the bank maintaining its application-to-agreement in principle speed, which stands at one working day and is often completed on the same day.

Landbay has announced the launch of new five-year fixed remortgage products within its premier range, each offering £500 cashback and a free valuation. Premier is a range of standard products for landlords with up to 15 properties, available to both individual and limited company landlord borrowers. The new additions are available up to 75% LTV and are all priced at 5.09% with different fee levels based on the maximum loan size required. For a maximum loan of £150,000, the fee is £899, the fee is £1,009 for a £300,000 loan, a £1,399 fee is required for a loan of £500,000, at £700,000, the fee is £1,599 and at £1m, the fee is £1,899.
