Countrywide Surveying Services (CSS) has appointed Morné Jacobs as its new build director. Jacobs brings a wealth of experience to the role, having worked at Lloyds Banking Group for 24 years in various capacities. Over the past eight and a half years, he has specialised in the new building sector, working closely with industry specialists, including national housebuilders, brokers and other key stakeholders to deliver affordable homes in desirable locations. The new role within CSS involves promoting and enhancing its new build offering across the UK, with a key focus on supporting net zero goals. The role will also seek to advocate various construction methods, including modern and affordable housing.

Spring Finance has completed a new funding line with Shawbrook Bank. The facility will primarily be used to support Spring’s development finance product range, which was launched to the market in June 2024. The new Shawbrook facility sits alongside Spring’s existing facilities with NatWest, Hampshire Trust Bank and Aldermore Bank. The funding will allow the company to continue its growth in the specialist lending industry. The lender also recently partnered with Optalitix and LendingMetrics to provide origination and an integrated decision engine for its mortgage division.

The Conveyancing Association (CA) has announced WNS as its latest affiliate member. The NYSE-listed company works with clients across several industries to co-create digital solutions in customer experience services, finance and accounting, human resources, procurement and research and analytics by leveraging its expertise across domain, technology and processes. WNS works with several large and mid-sized conveyancers and law firms to achieve operational and customer experience excellence through back office processes. WNS will be taking part in future CA events throughout 2024 and 2025.
